Event Experiences

One Day. Two Great Experiences.

Join us for the free W.E.E.E. Cycle Tricycle Race in the morning, then continue the celebration at the optional VIP Picnic Partner Luncheon in the afternoon.

Free Community Event

W.E.E.E. Cycle Tricycle Race

The race is free for all registered participants and their families from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Optional VIP Experience

VIP Picnic Partner Luncheon

The luncheon takes place from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and requires a separate $65 ticket.

Time: 1:00 PM–4:00 PM Ticket: $65 per person

About the Event

A Day of Connection, Learning and Fun

W.E.E.E. Cycle Detroit creates an opportunity for young children to interact with law enforcement professionals in a welcoming and encouraging environment. Participants will enjoy an exciting tricycle race experience while learning about safety, wellness, teamwork, and community.

Positive Community Engagement Children and families connect with law enforcement professionals outside of crisis situations.

Exercise and Wellness Participants enjoy active play while building confidence and healthy habits.

Safety Education Children receive age-appropriate encouragement centered on safe riding and community awareness.

Awards & Recognition

Every Participant Will Be Celebrated

W.E.E.E. Cycle Detroit is designed to recognize effort, encourage participation, and create a positive experience for every registered child.

First Place

The first-place participant will receive a bike and toy basket.

Second Place

The second-place participant will receive a candy basket.

Third Place

The third-place participant will receive a candy basket.

All Participants

Every child will be recognized and celebrated for participating in the W.E.E.E. Cycle Detroit race.

Breakfast Snack & Lunch

Registered race participants will receive a breakfast snack and lunch during the event.

Rain or Shine

The event will take place rain or shine. Families should plan accordingly for the weather.

Participant Eligibility & Required Equipment

Please review the participant requirements before completing the registration form.

Pre-K Enrollment The participating child must currently be enrolled in a Pre-K program.

Tricycle Only Participants must bring a tricycle. Bicycles and other riding equipment are not permitted.

Helmet Required Every participant must wear a properly fitted helmet during the race.

Knee & Elbow Pads Knee pads and elbow pads are required for participant safety.

Rain or Shine: W.E.E.E. Cycle Detroit will take place regardless of weather conditions. Families should bring appropriate outerwear and plan accordingly.

Reserve Your Child's Spot

Please complete one registration form for each participating child. All required fields must be completed before the registration can be submitted. A confirmation will be emailed to the address provided.

Child Information Enter the child's name, school or center, and any allergies, dietary restrictions, or relevant medical information.

Parent or Guardian Provide your name, relationship to the child, telephone number, and email address.

Emergency Contact Provide the name, relationship, and telephone number of an emergency contact other than yourself.

Submit Registration A confirmation email will be sent after the form is successfully submitted.
