Community Programs
To date, Delta Service Through Detroit Foundation, Inc. has executed numerous community programs—many supported by grants and community partners—to improve the quality of life for future generations across Detroit.
A few examples of our community impact include:
Healthy Kid, Balancing Your Life — helping youth learn healthy snacks, exercise, and nutrition (supported by the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan).
HIV/AIDS “Training for Trainers” — equipping community leaders with life-saving education to share across Detroit.
Back to School Extravaganza — co-sponsored with CCC Because We Care Foundation to provide supplies and resources for students.
Faith-based Grant Workshop — hosted at Wayne County Community College District to guide churches and organizations through the funding process for AIDS education.
